This Privacy Policy details our governance standards, data collection frameworks, processing workflows, storage architectures, and user rights concerning your access to the ClipCritic iOS mobile application and web portal (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

Account & Profile Credentials: When registering an account, we collect basic identifier data including your full name, email address, profile avatar, and encrypted authentication tokens.

Uploaded Video & Audio Media Assets: When requesting a multimodal scan, we ingest the uploaded video file (up to 90 MB in size and 60 seconds in duration) along with its embedded audio track. Media assets are downsampled frame-by-frame for pacing, framing, hook retention, and speech clarity evaluation.

Metadata & Target Context: User-selected parameters including target platform (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts), target audience demographics, primary campaign objectives, and custom brand guidelines.

Billing & Subscription Information: Payments processed via Apple App Store In-App Purchases (managed by RevenueCat) or Web checkout. ClipCritic never accesses or stores raw credit card numbers or sensitive payment method credentials.

3. Multimodal AI Processing & Model Non-Training Guarantee

Purpose-Bound Processing: Uploaded video and audio assets are processed solely to compute your video performance metrics, Hook Impact Score, visual dead-air heatmaps, timestamped editor action items, and platform SEO captions.

Zero Public AI Model Training: ClipCritic strictly commits that your private uploaded video assets, audio voiceovers, unreleased draft clips, and proprietary creative concepts are NEVER sold, rented, or utilized to train public machine learning or foundation AI models.

Ephemeral Processing Pipelines: Media assets sent to our analysis servers are retained in encrypted temporary buffers only for the duration required to complete analysis and compile your report.

4. Third-Party Infrastructure & Security Governance

Cloud Infrastructure: We utilize tier-1 enterprise cloud providers (AWS / GCP) enforcing TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest.

Analytics & Performance Monitoring: Anonymous telemetry (device model, iOS version, app crashes, latency metrics) is gathered to maintain operational stability and diagnose system errors.

5. Data Retention, Portability & Account Deletion

Creator Memory & Trajectory Data: We preserve past report summaries and score trajectories so long as your account remains active, enabling historical performance tracking.

Account & Data Erasure: You retain absolute ownership of your data. You may request full account deletion and complete erasure of all associated scan histories at any time by contacting privacy@clipcritic.app.
