1. Acceptance of Terms & Services Description
By accessing, downloading, or using ClipCritic ("Services"), provided by ClipCritic ("Company," "we," or "our"), you ("User," "Creator," or "Subscriber") agree to be bound legally by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
ClipCritic provides AI-driven multimodal video analysis, hook quality scoring, pacing heatmaps, timestamped editor checklists, and discoverability metadata optimization for short-form video content.
2. Account Registration, Tokens & Subscription Terms
Creator Pass Subscription: ClipCritic offers an all-inclusive Creator Pass for $14.99 USD per month, available exclusively through the iOS mobile app via Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal billing date via your Apple ID settings.
Monthly Token Allocation: The Creator Pass provides 300 Tokens per monthly billing cycle. Tokens are credited to your active account upon successful monthly renewal.
Video Upload Limits: Video file uploads are permitted up to 90 MB in file size and 60 seconds in playback duration per scan request. Supported file formats include MP4 and MOV.
Token Expiry & Non-Transferability: Unused tokens expire at the conclusion of each billing cycle and do not roll over or convert into cash or monetary credit.
3. Intellectual Property Rights & Content Ownership
100% User Content Ownership: You retain full, exclusive ownership of all uploaded video assets, audio recordings, original creative concepts, and media content submitted to ClipCritic.
Analysis Output Ownership: You own all rights to the critique reports, timestamped checklists, SEO captions, and recommendations generated for your uploaded clips.
Limited Processing License: You grant ClipCritic a temporary, non-exclusive license solely to host, downsample, and process your uploaded media for the automated compilation of your requested scan report.
4. Prohibited Uses & Acceptable Conduct
You agree not to upload content that violates applicable local or international laws, infringes third-party copyrights or trademarks, contains malicious code, or features explicit hate speech or non-consensual imagery.
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or systematically extract analytical algorithms, prompts, or proprietary data models from ClipCritic.
5. In-App Purchases, Billing & Refunds
iOS App Store Billing: Subscriptions are purchased exclusively through the iOS App Store and managed by Apple Inc. Subscription management, payment methods, cancellations, and refund requests are governed directly by Apple ID account policies.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
ClipCritic Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While our multimodal AI provides actionable creative guidance, we do not guarantee specific viral performance, reach, or view counts on third-party social platforms.
In no event shall ClipCritic be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from platform usage or service interruptions.
